Cenversa Limited is an unlisted public company with a scaled and strategically differentiated position in the animal health, veterinary distribution and pet care sectors. Operating globally, the Group has built a diversified, vertically integrated business model spanning national wholesale distribution, proprietary brands, veterinary hospital interests, joint ventures and a customer/shareholder co-operative model.

Founded in 1960, and Australia’s oldest petcare wholesale business, Cenversa has evolved from a traditional veterinary wholesaler into a multi-channel growth platform with resilient end-market exposure, long-standing supplier relationships and significant customer reach.

With more than 300 employees, and over 2500 vet clinic and Pet Specialty customers, the Group is well positioned to capture further value in a fragmented and expanding market.

Our Story

Where it all began

From humble beginnings in August 1960 as a family-owned veterinary wholesaling business, Cenversa has grown into a proudly Australian-owned and managed unlisted public company, supported by approximately 300 shareholders nationwide. Today, our group employs more than 300 people across the country.

The Cenversa group brings together multiple companies operating throughout Australia under a vertically integrated model — spanning innovation hubs through strategic joint ventures that bring new products to market, vet and pet distribution, and gold standard animal care through our group of veterinary hospitals that passionately serve their communities and fuel insight and advocacy within the group.

Our main service centres in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Launceston have each been strategically located to deliver outstanding order fulfilment rates and efficient, reliable delivery for our pet passionate vet and specialty customers nationwide.
